Objectives of the method: Students watch the short video about online shopping and answer the questions during the video task. Teacher can see, what is the most difficult part to understand and discuss about it in the next lesson.

1.     Teacher finds a suitable video (Youtube, Vimeo Khan Academy, National Geographics or upload her own)

2.     Teacher adds questions to the video (you can add open ended questions, multiple choice question or a comment).

3.     Teacher shares a link to the video with students (students can log in to the Edpuzzle with their Google account based emails).

4.     Students watch the video at home and answer the questions.

5.     In the next lesson there will be a discussion about the video. Teacher can see in the Edpuzzle, what question was difficult to answer and can explain it.

Describe what was easy/useful for yourself as a teacher in preparing the material Some students had problems with their Google account log in (they didn’t remember passwords) and they didn’t find class code to enroll the right lesson
Describe what was difficult in preparing the material You have to find a proper video and come up with good questions.
Describe what was easy/useful for yourself in implementing the material The students liked that kind of task – only thing they have to do, is watching the video and finding the answers.

What were the benefits for students? Think about students’ motivation, responsibility, interest etc based on student surveys, observations The students could watch the material at home and prepare for the next lesson. They can watch this video several times to find the answers.
What were the drawbacks of using the method from the students’ perspective? They have to log into EdPuzzle environment (there were some misunderstandings how to log in and how to use Google account).
